Everyone has a certain way of doing things. While one person may prefer to buy a cake from the store, another might bake a cake from scratch. While someone might bring their car to a mechanic for repairs, another may prefer fixing it themselves.
The same goes for heating oil delivery: Some of our customers prefer the convenience of letting Stafford Oil & Propane take charge of delivering their fuel when they need it; others prefer to monitor their fuel tanks and order their heating oil or propane by themselves.
Letting Stafford Oil & Propane take charge of delivering your fuel:
This is called automatic delivery, and it’s our way we help make sure you have the home heating oil and propane you need when you need it. We use a special computer program to calculate when you will need more fuel, then we schedule your delivery and fill your tank so you won’t have to trudge outside or make a trip to the basement to check your tank gauge or call for a delivery. Monitoring your fuel tank and ordering your heating oil or propane by yourself:
This is called “on-demand” or “will-call” delivery. Some customers prefer to manage their fuel deliveries themselves, and we’re perfectly fine with that! You can always track your own usage and order fuel through our online portal — just remember to order your fuel when you gauge reads one-quarter full.
As a Stafford Oil & Propane customer, your method of home heating oil or propane delivery is entirely up to you. Or, to paraphrase the state motto of New Hampshire, “Live Free and Order Your Fuel Your Way.”
