Payment Options
The choice is yours! Central NH and Greater Lakes Region homeowners can manage and lower their heating bills with savings and payment programs from Stafford Oil & Propane. We offer several purchasing programs to help fit your budget and take some of the worry that comes with buying your home heating fuel.
Payment is made with each fuel delivery. If you pay within ten days, your balance is current, you are on Automatic Delivery or order 125 gallons or more, you can earn a discount of at least 15¢ per gallon on your delivery.
Our Easy Pay Budget Plan estimates your payments from your past fuel usage and spreads your heating costs evenly over 11 monthly payments. If the market price or weather changes considerably beyond our estimates, we'll adjust your monthly payment during the year. Even better - if you make your payments on time, you'll get our prompt pay discount of 15¢ per gallon. Get the most out of the program by authorizing automatic payments on your credit card, so you are sure to earn the discount price.
Fuel prices go up and down all season long - our Easy Pay Budget with Price Cap gives you the consistent payments of our Easy Pay plan, plus protects your fuel price when the market price rises. Price Cap is "price insurance" against rising fuel prices. There is a fee to sign up but if the cost of fuel per gallon is less than your cap price, you will be charged the lower discounted price.
Pay for your winter heating fuel in advance by signing up for our Fixed Price Prebuy plan. You pay for all of the heating fuel you think you will use upfront at a locked-in, fixed price. The enrollment period begins no earlier than May 1st and ends no later than October 31st, per State of NH law. During the October 1st through May 31st heating season, you will be charged the fixed price you locked in for all of the prebuy gallons you purchased. This Prebuy plan is a fixed rate - so your prices won't change as the market price fluctuates.
Downside protection is "insurance" for your rates, and the cost will be included in your pre-season payment. You'll still make one payment when you enroll between May 1 and October 31, but we will adjust your billing to reflect any lower market prices during the winter.
You can reduce paper waste and household clutter when you sign up for paperless billing. It's quick, easy and free. With paperless billing we'll email your invoices and monthly statements. You will be able to pay your balance by clicking right through to your My Account portal.
